Waves Of Life

The Beauty of Nature can be truly relaxing.Too often, one is stuck at work or at home separate from nature's beauty. With a nature picture and some spare time, nature can be accessible to everyone to some extent....
This is an attempt to bring nature's beauty to home.Surface level...this is a simple painting of a sea shore...but hidden in it are the all elements of life, the vast open sky to fly(opportunities)..heights of the mountains to reach(success)..hut providing shelter in the tough times of life(heavenly shelter)..ups and downs of life in the form of waves(constantly changing life)and a man sailing in the boat of life(man's journey in this world).

Creator Of World

Every Painting is not just a Painting rather it holds many meanings and represents different aspects of human life and mind.Every part of this Painting stands for one or another thing and hold high meaning for human life.
This Picture of Lord Shiva,Goddess Parvati and their son Lord Ganesha depicts an ideal example of family unity and love.
This Art-Piece will spread positive vibrations in the house.A sense of unity and serenity will be experienced whenever it is being looked at.
Lord Shiva is called the destroyer of evil but has also the aspect of regeneration. He is the third deity of the Hindu Triad of Great Gods,TheTrimurti.Shiva is depicted with a dark blue throat and three eyes.He is portrayed carrying a trident and rides a white bull,'Nandi'.
The Third Eye of Shiva on His Forehead is the eye of wisdom and symbol of higher consciousness. It is the eye that looks beyond the visible and which destroys the evil doers and sins.
Lord Shiva is often shown seated upon a Tiger Skin, which is the vehicle of Shakti, the goddess of power and force.Shiva is beyond and above any kind of force and is the master of Shakti. The Tiger Skin that He wears symbolizes victory over every force.
Shiva is inseparable from Shakti-Parvati His female consort and wife.Because of His generosity and reverence towards Parvati,Shiva is considered an ideal role model for a husband. There is no Shiva without Shakti and no Shakti without Shiva;the two are one - or the absolute state of being - consciousness and bliss.
Lord Ganesha - the elephant headed God of knowledge(Vinayak) and the remover of obstacles(Vighneshwer)is the son of Shiva and Parvati. He is worshipped,in the beginning of any auspicious performance for blessings and auspiciousness.

Bidai

Indian weddings are known for their traditions and richness. All the rituals performed in it have one or other importance. One of the important ritual of all these is Bride's 'Bidai'.Wedding is a cherished moment, which is more of a dream come true. After the dream realizes, its time for bride to leave her house, this emerges out as the most painful moment of all. This is what the Indian Wedding 'Bidai' ceremony is all about.
'Bidai' is a post wedding ceremony, which takes place after the wedding rituals are completed. It is a tearful ritual as bride bids farewell to her family...the pain of missing her and the joy of marrying her overwhelms the heart of her parents.
This traditional ritual depicted in this art-piece is an effort to capture the richness of that moment...Bride in the 'Doli' heading towards the new phase of her life....

Guru Nanak Dev Ji

The Gurus are not incarnation of God and they are not worshipped. They, are instead, simply held in very high esteem as especially enlightened spiritual guides. It is not unusual for sikh holy places, sikh homes, and sikh Gurdwaras to have pictures of Gurus hanging on the walls.
This aluminium repousse is of The Sikh Guru 'Guru Nanak Dev Ji',the founder of sikh religion.Having spread the words of reform throughout his lifetime,Guru Nanak Dev ji successfully challenged and questioned the existing religious tenants and laid the foundation of Sikhism.

Embossing of Metal

Art is involved in every sphere of human life-art of handling various situations, art of being perfectionist, art of acting ,dancing, mastering various other talents and all of above art of living.......so art is so much assimilated in our life that we can't even think of life without it.The art i am talking about here in my blog is the art of transforming a non-alive metal to an alive product-putting the life into the flat metal. The word 'Metal'- first thing that comes to mind on hearing this is an impression of a hard lifeless item but when 'Art'is associated with this-it becomes the soul, mind and eye soothing creation.
This design is embossed on copper sheet in which 'OM' and 'GANPATI JI' are assimilated in a way depicting the assimilation of our 'SOUL' with 'GOD'.
